Our School Leaders
Dear Readers,
A warm welcome to Woodgrove Secondary School (WGS). Thank you for visiting our website — we hope it offers you a meaningful glimpse into the vibrant, caring and dynamic learning community that defines who we are.
At WGS, our vision is to develop future-ready learners and thoughtful leaders. Guided by our mission to nurture Woodgrovers of character with a passion for lifelong learning and active citizenship, we are committed to helping every student discover their strengths, grow with confidence, and contribute positively to the world around them.
Our students enjoy a rich and holistic school experience grounded in the national curriculum, and enriched by a wide range of programmes that encourage curiosity, creativity and service. We take pride in empowering our students through our Learning for Life Programme (LLP) in Community and Youth Leadership, where they are given opportunities to develop confidence, leadership and a strong sense of purpose. Our Applied Learning Programme (ALP) in Science for Sustainable Living further provides authentic platforms for students to apply STEM concepts to real-world issues, experiment with innovative solutions, and cultivate a sense of responsibility towards the environment.
Our school values — Be Your Best Self, Embrace Challenges, Practise Gratitude, Serve to Lead — are lived out daily in our classrooms, activities and interactions. They guide the way we learn, work and grow together as a Woodgrove family. We are also deeply grateful for the strong partnership of our School Advisory Committee, Alumni and Parents, whose unwavering support strengthens our collective efforts.
With a clear focus on our Vision, Mission and Values, WGS remains committed to providing a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where every Woodgrover can flourish.
We are immensely proud of our school and of our amazing Woodgrovers. It would be our pleasure to welcome you to Woodgrove Secondary School and share our learning journey with you, as we partner families and the wider community to shape meaningful learning experiences for every Woodgrover.
Best regards,
Ms Goh Peishi, Principal
